We think it's the first thing that someone wants to learn about a language.
So, here's some greetings in Portuguese.


+ Oi = Hi
+ Olá = Hello
+ Alô = Hello (used on the telephone)
+ Bom dia = Good Morning
+ Boa tarde = Good Afternoon
+ Boa noite = Good Night or Good Evening
+ Bem-vindo(a)! = Welcome!
+ Tudo bem? = Is it everything Ok?
+ Você está bem? = Are you Ok?
+ Como vai? = How are you doing? / How are you going?
+ Como você está? / Como estais? = How are you?
+ Como tem passado? = How have you been?
+ Prazer em te conhecer = Nice to meet you / Glad to meet you
+ Até logo / Até breve = See you soon
+ Até mais = See you later
+ Adeus = Goodbye
+ Tchau = Bye
